I was at the show last nite with Discocat. OMG!!! It freakin rocked!!!!! Sebastian sounded amazing. Crowd was loving him!!
We got to venue like 5:15 and there were already at least 50 people in line and it was cold!!!! - thank god we had jager to warm us up before we got in line! The best spot we could get was like 4th row and that was with us making a mad dash to the stage after they checked our tix. I was a little bummed cause I wanted to be in the front but oh well. It was a pretty full venue. Looked like all the seats were filled and about 1/2 the floor.
Sebastian came on at like 8:05-8:10. His set was like an hour and 10 min. I thought it would be shorter. He opened with Slave. Also sang (in no particular order): Here I Am, 18 & Life, Piece of Me, The Threat, Monkey Business, I Remember You, American Metalhead, By Your Side and another new one, forgive me if I get the name wrong but I think I was called Stuck Inside You. Gawd, I hope that's the name - otherwise I am just a dirty perv, LOL!!! Of course he closed with YGW.
Papa Roach sounded good and the singer put on a good show, but they are not just not my thing. A lot of the crowd seemed to be into them but not the ppl around us. We all were just kinda standing there. I kinda felt bad cause the singer was trying so hard to get the crowd fired up. Again, they did a good job, I'm just not that into them. Couple of the dudes, young guys actually, said they wish Sebastian would come back on!
Now, for GNR. They hit the stage around 11:30 - later than we thought it would be. The crowd went berserk when the band hit the stage and chanting Axl. I thought GNR rocked, man!!! I was a little skeptical. Thought Axl would come off like a jerk or something, but no. He great. Sounded good too. He was really enjoying himself, smiling & just having a good time. And there's nothing like see Axl do his "shimmy" thing up close! It was pretty crazy. The opened with Welcome To The Jungle. They sang all the songs you'd expect. Towards the end of the show Sebastian came back out and sang My Michelle with them. Very cool. Lisa & I actually left before the show was over. We bailed at like 1:30. I was so tired, esp. after driving 5 hrs to the show.
We did not try to meet Sebastian before or after the show. It was just too cold last nite, esp. after the show.
So, now that I have gotten a little Baz fix I need more!!!!
Cant wait for Allentown & Baltimore.

yanno personally i think axl needs to give up his camera fear.. not because i want to see pics of him, but bc it's causing us to lose pictures ppl would of taken of Sebastian. I got pictures of Sebastian last night. Now, when GNR came out security was not allowing pics. |

yanno personally i think axl needs to give up his camera fear.. not because i want to see pics of him, but bc it's causing us to lose pictures ppl would of taken of Sebastian. I agree!!!!! I experienced this first hand...I actually saw a security guard grab a girls camera-she snuck in-pull out the film-and hand it back!!!! And...everyone's cell phones had to be put away or taken away.... Thank God-the pictures-cannot be taken from my mind... |

Security in Huntington did not allow camera during GNR, but they weren't saying shit about ppl taking cell phone pics. I tried with my phone but you couldnt see anything. Came out horrible. I dont have an expensive phone though. |
