Yes, the show was great and Sebastian was fantastic. He went on at around 9:30 PM. Axl came on at around 11:30 and the show finished close to 2 AM.
Before Baz went on stage, I could see him behind the stage in the backstage area gearing himself up to go onstage. He was like a prizefighter: jogging on the spot and gearing himself up to run onto the stage. Then he hit the stage like a meteor. At the beginning of the show, someone in the audience gave him what seem to be a black and white glossy photo taken of someone or more than one person. I don't know who it was. Perhaps a photo of Baz? Baz really seemed to get a kick out of it and smiled and showed it to his guitar player.
Some of the songs he sang Stuck Inside, By Your Side, The Threat, I Remember You, Piece of Me, Monkey Business, 18 and Life (the crowd really loved that one) and he saved Youth Gone Wild for the end of his set. He said how he was sorry that he had not been in Toronto for some time but that he was waiting to tour with Guns and Roses. He said that his mother was in the audience and pointed her out, talked a bit about his sister, who he said is married to a cop. He asked if we had seen Supergroup on Muchmoremusic and the crowd screamed "yes". He then said: "you know when I said that I stopped drinking???!!. Well, I lied!! You can't expect this Canadian boy to not want to drink a little Labatt's Blue beer every now and then do you??!!!
He dedicated By Your Side to his father and mother-in-law and said that they were no longer living. The crowd really loved Baz during his set. He got a really great response and for a time it felt as if he was the headliner. When he sang one of the ballads (I think By Your Side) he asked everyone to hold up their cellphones and to post it on youtube. He then had a surprise: he introduced the guys from the Trailer Park Boys and the crowd went wild. Everyone stood up and was cheering. It was as if the Trailer Park Boys were rock stars. I was a bit amazed. I know the show is popular, but the kind of frenzy that accompanied their entrance on stage was a bit mind boggling. They sang with Sebastian for a bit and one of the guys (the one with the glasses) was playing the guitar and singing lead while Sebastian sang background. Baz was really enjoying all of this. They then exited the stage and Sebastian continued mid-way through Monkey Business since he had interrupted that song to introduce the Trailer Park Boys.
Axl was really great. I was impressed because I wasn't really expecting that. He really puts on a great show and he had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Although I have never found him to be that much of a singer, he really did a great job on vocals considering the limitations of his vocal skills. In other words, he was as great as he could possibly be. His show was really well-paced in terms of rocking it out and slowing things down, having the musicians play long solos and Axl playing the piano. He is a true entertainer and I had a new-found respect for his talent beyond his being just a rockstar. And, his musicians are virtuosos. All really talented. When Axl started to slow things down as he does when he is about to do the duet with Baz, the crowd started to get excited because they assumed that Baz was coming on next to sing My Michelle, so Axl said "I know you think you know what's coming next, but you don't.". He then surprised us by bringing out the guys from Trailer Park Boys, who then introduced Baz to the stage to sing My Michelle with Axl. This was really fantastic. The crowd went wild. The duet has really seemed to be the highlight of the tour, and I can see why. When Baz came on and started the song at the front of the stage, there was so much energy in that concert hall. The place was in a frenzy. Baz was looking good. He was wearing jeans, a white shirt and a dark jacket and he really takes over that stage.
Baz isn't a typical opening act. When you see him, you think he is the headliner and that you have only come to see him and only him. It is true what others have said about him - he really was born to do what he does.

Sebastian had a great show, but it was a bit short. They did not play American Metalhead which was a Bummer. The people on both side of me went crazier when he played the new song then when he did Here I am & The Threat. Baz voice as always was in top shape & Baz girl I disagree he has no Limitations. Johnny surprised me as to how much lead work he dose. He is really a great Guitarist & he has a good Voice. Mike & Bobby where "AWESOME" but being a Halford fan I new that. Rob did great on the Bass but IM wondering if he will be come a more permanent fixture or if he is just subbing till Steve has more Free time? The set was short. I wish he would have played longer, there was a couple that drove there from Quebec & left after he played they only came to see him. The SUICED GIRLS WHERE OFF THE HOOK! I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF NOR SEEN THIS DONE AT A ROCK SHOW BUT LET ME TELLYA IT WAS AMAZING I bought a $40.00 Sebastian T shirt American. I missed are new Duty Free American & thus payed everything in American Cash. I dropped $150 last night in Cash left with both a Sebastian Bach & Guns Tshirt< Which I bought out side for $10 but by that Time I had some candian coin. Baz set if I can remember ooo I was SOBER had only Water & Coffie. not in the right order for some 1.Slave to the Grind 2.Big Guns 3. Stuck Inside 4. The Threat 5. Piece of me 6.Here I am 7. Bitch Slap 8. 18 & life 9. Monkey Bizz/Trailer park Them song 10. By your side dedicated to his Father & his fathers wife who have passed on. 11. I remeber you 12. Youth gone Wild! ````````````````````````````````````````````````` I wish Sebastian would have played longer. I was so wanting to hear AMERICAN METALHEAD but may be he did not do the cause he was in his home of Canada. Toronto did welcome him home & while most people where there to see Guns he won a lot of people over & was the Soul reason I was there. It would have been cool if he had Pyro & a Lazer Light show like Guns. Axl & G'nR where in top shape they started 5 min's Early at 11:55 & played till 2:30. My 2 hour dive back to the states was well worth it for the over all show. BAZzzzzzzzzzzz RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#1

Baz voice as always was in top shape & Baz girl I disagree he has no Limitations. Ace, I was actually talking about Axl's voice not Baz's. I know Baz has a great voice. I was talking about the fact that I think Axl has limited vocal skills (not Baz), but that Axl surprised me because vocally he was better than I thought he would be or what people have reported and better than I have heard on youtube.

My anticipation for this show had been growing out of control for the past few months. On this cold and rainy November evening, this GNR fan was in pure awe. Electricity in the air could be felt long before even arriving at the Air Canada Center. As I got onto the subway line that would take me straight to the venue, I was met on the subway by GNR fans, new and old.
You could see the excitement in all their eyes. This night was unlike any other concert experience. We weren't all going to just some show. We are all going to see GUNS N' F'N ROSES. You can't explain the way we all felt. But one thing was for sure, we were going to experience something special.
As we arrived at the venue, the chants for "Guns N' Roses" could be heard in every direction. The anticipation was now growing completely out of control as I rushed my gate to get into the venue and into my seats. Being that I worked late this evening I missed the opening with The Suicide Girls. But from what I heard, it wasn't all that great, and that it would have been better if they had just got a band to play instead.
Moments after I got into my seat, the lights went down for the opener, and Canada's own, Mr. Bach. He played the Skid Row classics that really did bring back a lot of old memories of playing air guitar in front of my mirror as a kid in small town Canada. He broke into some new songs that will be on his new album to be released next year. Sebastian pointed out that as a kid and a teenager, Toronto was where he became who he is today. He made references to old clubs where he developed his monster screams and that unforgettable singing voice. He really did a great job on this night, and held the audience in the palm of his hand.
Being that I'm a huge fan of newgnr.com, I've read every review and knew that we would be waiting a bit before GNR hit that stage. So I basically just relaxed and warmed up my pipes so I could sing along with Mr. Rose. What better way to warm up the pipes with some good ol' Canadian beer.
At 11:30 I knew that at any moment those lights were going to fade to black, and I would be in heavy metal heaven. And that's exactly what happened.
11:45 to be exact, those lights did fade to black and the intro of all intros hit like a ton of bricks, and we were all welcomed to the jungle!
I'm pretty sure that I started to lose my voice midway through Jungle, but that didn't stop me from singing the rest of songs along with Axl. For what I can't remember the set list was as follows:
Welcome to the Jungle Its So Easy Mr Brownstone Live and Let Die Knockin on Heavens Door Better The Blues Sweet Child O Mine Nightrain Used to Love Her Patience Down on the Farm You Could Be Mine November Rain Don't Cry Out Ta Get Me Chinese Democracy Paradise City This really is a set list of set lists. It really does cover everything and anything I would possibly want to hear. Even throwing in Down on the Farm into the fold was really incredible.
The new Guns tunes really are incredible as well. I really hope that this Chinese Democracy hits the streets sooner that later because I need these songs f'n cranked in the car and in my room.
Axl sand with relative ease, making it look easy. The band played super tight and even added new elements that I truly believe where missing in their lives shows back in the day. Bumblefoot won all our hearts by playing a "Hendrix" style "O'Canada" during his solo. Truly f'n magical.
This concert is something I will never forget. For all the new GNR haters out there who say this isn't GNR, I can tell you, this is Guns N Roses. Axl is GNR. He always was and always will be. He's was the voice of a generation, and once this new record some out, he'll be the voice of the new generation of rockers. ````````````````````````````````````````
A review of the show.

11-15-06 | Toronto (ON) Review by Andrew Amatiello Ok I had been waiting for this concert like my whole fuckin life and it finally had come. I must say that it was worth the long wait and anyone who is going to see Guns in the near future ... i am telling you now! it is worth every dime. Alright when we finally got settled in and stuff it was 7:30.. then around 8:00 this band who i had no clue who they hell they were started playing (its 2 guys and girl leader singer) I thought they did a pretty decent job ... the girl she likes to move around and actually just run around in the crowd... they played for about half hour or so. Then the suicide girls came on about 9, yes there were pretty hot... it was ok it wasn't anything amasing... they did strip , well sort of they had like tap on on their tits sooo yea... they guy next to me who was just fucked out of his mind seemed to like it alot.. they can do some pretty crazy acrobat shit; they were on for about 45 mins or so. At about 9:50 Bach came on and he did a real good job warming up the crowd; the man just doesn't seem to run out of energy, probably cause it was his home town... and he said we were resoponsible for him whether we liked it or not. Bach Played for a good hour. O yea and how could i Forget Bach had a surprise for the Canadian fans... the Trailer Park boys showed and jamed with bach for about 10 mins... bubbles actually got to sing his very own song. The place went fuckin crazy when they saw them. Then began the waiting.. i must say people who are going to see guns soon, when you are waiting for Axl to come on stage an hour half later after Bach finished his set...you start to get bitchy, tired, and in your mind you'll start to say to yourself "WHAT THE FUCK IS THE HOLD UP".... trust me everyone just have some patience like i said before it was worth the wait. Finally at exactly 11.45 the lights went off, and i cannot describe what was going on it was just unbelieable, the roar of the crowd was just insane nothing i have ever heard before. Of Course Axl Kicked in with Welcome to the Jungle and screamed do you know where the fuck you are... That was like the greatest moment of my life. The setlist was the exact same as the previous shows Guns did.. to be honest i do not recall Down On The Farm being played.. maybe i was just too fucked up to remeber. The Pryo was pretty damn good , caught me off guard sometimes. Axl still has it his voice it was just amasing.. and he can still dance like he was still 23. There is no perfect word that can describe the concert... you just havta see it for yourselfs. Best fucking concert iv ever been to in my life. I hope the rest of enjoy the tour as much i did last night..... Everybody, AXL FUCKIN ROSE IS BACK! by Andrew Amatiello Sorry man i was trying to get photos but our fucking arena wouldn't let us bring cameras to the show...and our security was tight.. surprise, Hope u enjoy the review. P.S love the fuckin site, keep up the good work! www.newgnr.com/newgnr.html

First or all...I'd just like to say "FUCK YOU!!!" To all the haters, skeptics, asshole radio hosts, message board geeks who don't know shit about shit and/or any other media parasites who have nothing better to do than judge people based on shit that happened like 15/20 years ago, and try to (figureably) shit in our cornflakes and ruin our good time with stupid rumours and doubts.
Secondly...I'd like to say for the record that in my 21 years of living on this Earth, I've been to hundreds of concerts including (a few examples): BLACK SABBATH - MARILYN MANSON - VELVET REVOLVER(no disrespects) - PANTERA - SLAYER - SLIPKNOT - ROB ZOMBIE - AEROSMITH - MOTLEY CRUE - KORN - MUDVAYNE - APRIL WINE - and even the hottest band in the world...KISS!!! And last night, GUNS N ROSES proved to be the greatest show that I'd ever been to! I was on the edge of my seat, fidgeting and shaking my knees just waiting for the bastards to come out! And let me tell you, when they did...I almost shit a brick. But anyways I'll fill you in on the whole show from scratch to the best of my recollection.
There was a warm-up band that played from 8:00pm to like 8:40pm who's name I didn't quite get(I think they just some home-town heroes), but they were a 3 peice band with a stoner chic singer/guitar player. This girl was all over the place including up in the seats, on top of the guard rails and even in the audience! I was thinking to myself "Who does this broad think she is?!" But I give them their props. It's not that they were a bad band(they were pretty good) but I just had no patience for opening acts like that when I'm waiting for the cream of the crop!!!
Next to take the stage were the SUICIDE GIRLS burlesk show...Oh boy, these girls were fucking hot, man. They did some dirty dancing to songs from bands like LED ZEPPLIN, WOLFMOTHER, WHITE STRIPES and some big pop tunes. It was an excellent, diverse twist to the rock concert scene. I really enjoyed it. Even my girlfriend appreciated the fine performance that these ladies had to offer. I was just a bit worried that after that...The crowd on the floor would get violent from gettin all worked up and frisky watching those women dance practically naked, leaving all the guys with blue balls and sexual frustration, but it was ok. Haha. But yeah, they were great!
The 3rd act to take the stage was the ever-so colourful, energetic and charismatic SEBASTIAN BACH!!! He rocked the shit to of that place and being that Toronto is his hometown...You can bet that he was rockin a his hardest and his crown just ate it up, it was fuckin great! I'm not sure which song they opened up with, but they played shit like 18 AND LIFE and some new stuff which was super heavy and kicked ass. Now, for some feedbach...BAZ sounded amazing! You can tell that this guy practices hard with top notch vocal excercises, because his voice was was so powerful and spot on. He is still today, one of the greatest vocalists of all time in my opinion. I saw him with SKID ROW opening for KISS 10 years ago and he sounds better now! The band was fucking excellent! His drummer was spot on, the bassist and guitarists did awosome backing vocals, but most of all, his guitar players were fucking amazing man! Oh yeah...During one of their new tunes, they stopped right in the middle because they were invaded by some other guests...None other than the fuckin TRAILER PARK BOYS themselves!!! RICKY, JULIAN and of coarse...BUBBLES! It was hilarious and so ramdom, I couldn't believe my eyes, ears...Anything. BUBBLES w/audience and BAZ accompaniment sang BUBBLES's tune called LIQUOR & WHORES. It was great, when they left and BAZ finished his song that they'd stopped, I turned to my girlfriend and was like: "Did that just happen?".Anyway, they closed with I REMEMBER YOU and YOUTH GON WILD. I really hope for the best for these guys in the future becasue they deserve the support bigtime!
And finally...After a long, worth-while wait...On came GUNS N FUCKIN ROSES!!! It took the bastards till 11:45pm to take the stage...But when they did, all was forgiven and forgotten because they put on a show that made jaws drop. AXL looked great and sounded even better that he did 15 years ago! The band was incredible. There were absolutely no problems at all, AXL was very kind and greatful to the crowd, there were no "WE WANT SLASH" chants what so ever, the band won the crowd over easily, especially RON THAL, he owned that crowd. The only thing that was thrown on stage was a rose and a pair of sexy panties which AXL obviously acknowldged and retrieved, haha. The show included pyrotechnics, great lighting, another breif special guest apperance by BUBBLES and SEBASTIAN BACH and some other great stuff. Anyway...Here is the set list to the best of my recollection...
(Wierd freaky intro) WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE IT'S SO EASY MR.BROWNSTONE LIVE AND LET DIE KNOCKIN ON HEAVEN'S DOOR (AXL's high note was very climatic & breath-taking) ROBIN'S SOLO (rendition of PINK FLOYD classic COMFORTABLY NUMB) SWEET CHILD O' MINE DIZZY REED SOLO (not sure what song it was but it was pretty) THE BLUES BETTER YOU COULD BE MINE NOVEMBER RAIN MY MICHELLE (w/SEBASTIAN BACH) RICHARD FORTUS SOLO w/FINCK (beautiful) OUT TA GET ME USED TO LOVE HER RON THAL SOLO (OH CANADA/crazy solo/DON'T CRY)<- Best guitarist of the night...Hands down!!! IRS PATIENCE NIGHT TRAIN
(encore): CHINESE DEMOCRACY PARADISE CITY
There was also quite a bit of cool jamming going on in between some songs. But I think that I've covered most grounds of the show with the acception of the order of the tunes possibly not being completely precise, but it's pretty fuckin close and I'm pretty sure that it's closer than Ryan's (no offence intended) but I really follow this band regularly. They did not play DOWN ON THE FARM (for the record). There were 3 guys in our area who were ejected from the building (unrelated to the show though), 1 for fighting & 2 for getting busted smoking weed which is bullshit, I don't even smoke the shit, but traditionally it is great for the rock concert atmostphere as long as you're not blowing it in young kids faces or some shit like that. That's just my opinion though. Anyway...The show was over a little after 2:00pm and it was definitely the greatest rock n fuckin roll show that I'd ever seen. And I'll back that up anytime. I love that band, ROCK ON BOYS!!! Thanx for the memories, and I hope to see you again someday! LONG LIVE GUNS N ROSES!!!
