I know I'm new to the forum and late at posting this but I wanted to give my 2 cents.. ;D If you missed the show, you didnt get enough scrapes and bruises trying!  Five of my friends and myself lucked out at getting box seats to the show. Center stage, one level up, incredible. Felt like Baz was going to wack me in the head with his mic ,it was that intense. After a showing by the suicide girls, the lights dimmed, the floor rumbled and there was Baz. Still giving it up for the ladies in the audience and still hitting every note like he just took the weekend off!  Everyone from town to town was complaining even before the show that Axl was going to make a late showing. Our crew laughed and said " more time for Baz to tear the audience apart !"and Lord believe me he did! All our voices were destroyed by the next day.... No insults to Axl though, no matter the press he's received, he's an artist ,thats his job, not making everyone content. To Baz and his fans, THANK YOU. Without you fans, I wouldnt of had the opportunity to see the show and Baz wouldnt of toured it. Keep swinging your mic and screaming your notes, us Canadian boys are listening! I am so jealous of you guys in OZ we get hardly any good concerts I mean Baz and Axl at one concert the only place that would happen here is in my head, LOL,
I mean apart from ACDC I cannot even think of any good Aussie bands, I guess we have them but the support for the music industry in Australia really suck, sadly most of our artist need to leave Australia to make it, unless you are on Neighbours or Australian Idol, then you can release as many albums as you like, if you could call them that.
Having said that I was lucky enough to go to a Skid Row concert back in 1991 and Wreckdum I know what your saying, the atmosphere when Mr Sebastian Bach is in the room is beyond words, I have been to many concerts and this one rocked still 15 years on I can remember like it was yesterday, the next day my voice was gone, and I could not hear a thing, I remember my best friend had hair down to her waist and I was dragging her threw the crowd to get to the front, her hair was getting caught on everyone's leather jackets, She is screaming in pain I am telling her get over it, we may only get this chance once in our life LOL, and well she is still talking to me so I guess it was worth the pain and we made it to the front and like I say it rocked. That was our first concert we had ever been to in our lives and I must say we based every concert on it since and well none have lived up to the expectations of that one, guess that is the problem when you start at the top.

Rose Tattoo is one of my favorite bands of all time. For me, even better than AC/DC. Axl loves em too. check em out . they r from AUSTRALIA!

I must apologise I did forget about Rose Tattoo, and I actually do have some of there albums, not sure if I can say better than AC/DC, but great all the same I have seen AC/DC in concert and OMG If I have half the energy they have at there age I would die a happy women, that was one killer concert, Not as good as you of course Oh and I also have on video tape somewhere here an interview with you on MTV ( In Australia) and You where congratulating the host on AC/DC.Telling him they rock. and Australia should be proud So we now agree Australia has some very good bands.
I hope no offence was taken to my comment about no good Aussie bands I just mean real rockers do not get the support they deserve, which I think is sad, cause we do have some really good musicians.

If you guys get a chance to see the clip on Youtube or Myspace - Check out how many cellphones are held up!!!! From our seats , if you looked back it looked like a digital wall! Thanks for letting us record it Baz, now we get to keep that piece of history. Technology really is going off the edge.....insane... P.S. Rose Tattoo, nice find, makes me want to clean the snow off the Rat Rod and dig my foot into the floor. Nice and angry, just how I like it. |

Glad to hear things are doing well for you 'Baz'. I check in occassionally, but its been months if not a while longer than that. When, if you are ever going to have a chatroom. Sorry you may have one already, or not, but it would be good to know either way!
