I look back and read this from time to time. This is why I love small venues the best I was right at the stage. The author captured the night perfect. www.ellietimms.com/bach.html

I didnt see her get hit. I still remember pulling into town. My wife said "Where have you taken me?" If anyone has been there they know what I mean. The hotel and restaurant people kept telling us. Dont walk around at night, go straight to the show and back. Not a safe looking town.

He swings it more than once during shows and it wasn't like he hit me with the mic and knocked me out or anything. He did hit me in the shoulder, I said ouch, and off mic he said "well, you wanted to be front row" and grinned at me.

That wouldn't be the first time he's done that to you. lol He's also known for 'grabbing someone's nose' every so often too. Poor Jen. lol

Actually it was on the news the other day how Asbury park is being built up again by mostly the merchants. The stone pony is planning on being relocated onto the new boardwalk and the buildings they are putting up. It will be Stone Pony Entertainment, and be in all aspects of entertainment business. They've built up the boardwalk and are building up the town finally. And from what I remember Long Branch wasn't looking too good either from what it was. lol
