www.sebastianbach.com SebastianBlog 5.28.06 i am getting tired of making this announcement but everytime 2/5ths of my old band does some shows they use my picture & voice to promote their bait & switch 'gigs' , so i will say it again: I AM NOT IN THE BAND SKID ROW. I HAVE BEEN SOLO SINCE 1996 . I AM NOT PLAYING ANY CONCERTS WITH SKID ROW. I AM NOT PLAYING THE STARLAND BALLROOM WITH SKID ROW. I AM NOT PLAYING THAT CLUB IN INDIANA WITH SKID ROW THAT HAS AN AD IN THE NEWSPAPER NEXT TO MY PICTURE THAT SAYS "PAY $50 FOR A VIP TICKET TO MEET THE BAND"!!! not only that but ........ SNAKE SABO IS NOT IN SKID ROW. ROB AFFUSO IS NOT IN SKID ROW. IF YOU GO TO SEE 'SKID ROW' IN 2006 YOU ARE IN FACT GOING TO SEE ONLY 2 OUT OF THE ORIGINAL 5 MEMBERS OF THE BAND . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if this isn't 100 percent clear to everyone i don't know what is.

Snake is suffering from carpal tunnel
He was replaced by a Temp Keri Kelli Who
also played on the song Another Nail with Sebastian
for the Liberty & Justice Soundtrack of soul CD.........
Keri is now with Alice Cooper.
I saw Snake on VH1 a couple of nights ago.
How long before Rachel is the soul member
of what was one the great Metal Band some
of us Grew up cranking?

Snake tours with them when he can. he has severe carpal tunnel which puts him in pain if he tours over long periods of time.
sadly it might get worse as time goes on and we may never see original skids live together.

Being not native english speaker, I am not familiar with the 'carpal tunnel' word. Can anyone explain what that is?

I am sorry for Snake whatsoever :-( a condition caused by compression of a nerve where it passes through the wrist into the hand and characterized especially by weakness, pain, and disturbances of sensation in the hand. it is very painful, i know i few ppl who have it and it wakes them up through the night. sometimes you may drop things due to your hand going numb too. hope this helps. jojo |

yeah carpal tunnel sucks massively. I have a small case of it, it usually happens when I have to drive on long trips. It sucks cuz my whole arm goes numb!

My mom had to have surgery on both hands for carpal tunnel. She worked in a car plant lifting big car doors and other heavy parts daily. She still has trouble sometimes gripping things with her hands. She has been known to drop some things because of it.
I don't know if Snake, being a guitar player,could have the surgery for carpal tunnel without risking his ability to play. I'm not familiar with the dangers of having the surgery in relation to someone who relies on their hands completely for their career. My mother hasn't had as many problems since the surgery as one would expect, but she has had problems here and there.
I never did find out what was wrong with Bonham, the Supergroup drummer's, wrist on the show.
I suspected carpal tunnel just because of what I know from my mom dealing with it.

Yeah, but at least Tony (not tommy.lol), he figured out and could use something as a 'prosthesis', with carpal, its the whole hand and arm and not being able to move it due to numbness, tingling and pain. hopefully surgery will work for him. I had a friend that had surgery for it and it didn't work well to where they had to open up her arm all the way up to almost the shoulder. |

dave mustaine had carpal tunnel but has fully recovered. i hope that snake will be too..
