Talk about how Sebastian is important in my life is so fucking easy and hard at the same time...
I discovered Skid Row when I was searching for informations about Guns N' Roses and I was looking for bands that had open to GNR...then I saw a band called "Skid Row"...I decided to search any song that I could find and when I listened to Youth Gone Wild I was like "Oh my fuckin god!! That's amazing!!! Who's this vocalist?!?!?!?!?!?!?"...then I started to buy skid row records and VHS with shows recorded and then I made my mind: I'll be vocalist too! Someday I wanna be like that Guy!!!
I know that I'm not like him and probably never will...
But Sebastian Bach is the reason why I decided to go into music and after I discovered that there was a guy called sebastian bach that used to live in germany, and he was one of the best classic musicians in the past...that's how I started to like Classic Music too, so: Sebastian onlu just made me like hard rock and to sing, but he also made me like classic music!!! ;D
And every day that I know more about Baz, I like him even more...
THANK YOU BAZ!! THANKS FOR EXIST!!!

well, i was a really troubled teenager, i was very messed up. i used to listen to gnr & metallica & all of those, until my friends friend gave me a copy of skid row. naturally i loved it!! the way it was is that i hated my life & most of everything that was in it, but when i listened to this awsome singer i felt like i was somewhere else. i hope that makes sense. i just felt like i was away from all the crap that caused me so much pain. im grateful to sebastian for making all of his albums & for sharing his gift with us. to give a troubled teen an escape, even for a moment, was a blessing! just so you all know im great now, im a grown up & happy!!! also i think we should all say thankyou to sebastian & josh for running this site for us, its an awsome place. i know that all of us here appreciate all the time & effort that you both put in here.......so thankyou from your little freaks!!!

Now...Sebastian....where do I begin...I wasn't really infatuated with him until AFTER I met him. Believe it...I had a thing for Rachel...I SEEN Sebastian on MTV and said I don't like him cuz he is TOO PERFECT. so I liked Rachel. I was really wierd...I was always last to find the newest hottest music in junior high...I liked...not Cinderella or Poison or NKOTB (thank god)...I liked...get this...60's Music. I look back now and say to myself... what....in the hell...was I THINKING ! ? !
Now I know better.

Some years ago my friend gave me a cd of this band called Skid Row...and say to me...listen it and then say me what do you think about.I listened it and ..who's the singer were my first words..so I found in Internet more informations about the band and in particulary about the singer..Sebastian Bach. From that day I always listen Bas,in my car,in my room..everywhere and my mom also like him.I have driven 6 hours for seeing him. He's magic. I don't know the reason why I like his voice, his songs,himself..so much!!! Federica

Well, this is corny but when I was 13 I was at the roller skating rink and met this cute little girl...Denise. They played I Remember You, which was popular on the radio at the time. It became our song. At some point within the next year I bought the whole album and I remember just being so blown away by it. I had problems at home and 18 and Life became my theme song you know. But a few years later when Slave To the Grind hit....that just changed my life. I used to sing Wasted Time to this girl in school and I rememeber auditioning for a band with Monkey Business and they were like "He sounds just like Sebastian!" Great compliment although at 15 that was hardly true. But I modeled a lot that I did after Bas, the way I walked, swung a mic and rocked the stage. Man those were the days!!! The song Slave was my anthem but look at me now...Corporate Manager. Jeesh!

Okay so I fell for DA MAN after seeing him in a magazine, of course my friend thought he was just a pretty girl. LOL cuz bach in those days Baz had big hair and earrings...the whole nine. Well of course after examing the picture a little harder, we realized wow hes a dude. I looked at those Hazel eyes and it was all over....down hill from there. I was 12..... If I hadn't been for the magazine..I would have never bought the tape...and had the chance to hear such a incredible singer. Gotta Love Sebastian!
>Now I'm 30 yikes its scary huh?

Long story... Cut short...ish. I have been into 'Rock n Metal' since I was 11. Was well into the likes of Iron Maiden and Lee Arron (Good looking rock chick with lungs that must fill her entire body) by the time I was 18. Then my girlfriend of the time showed me this album that had just come out... Skid Row - Skid Row. I must admit, that was the first and only album that made me smile, really smile, the first time I heard it. Then I had something weird happen... I hate to say.... People started to say I looked like him (Seb)!! Wow. Some people even said I was trying to look like him... He he. The simple fact was I'd ALWAYS had long hair and it always been that colour. So suddenly I was very popular at the clubs n gigs... Oh, I didn't let it get to my head.. Cuz I couldn't believe it. But all I can say is I've had a really good life, in more ways than one, since and it's all down to one man. I was even given the chance to thank him on several occasions!! My guardian angel has def. looked out for me. Thanks again, Seb. Hows that for your life being touched by Seb!!?? ;D

I'll cut mine short too Basically I was listening to a radio interview with Corey Taylor at 2am about 5 years ago and he said that his favourite song is 'In A Darkened Room' by Skid Row so I thought 'What the hell, I'll download it'. OH MY GOD!! I couldn't believe it and started to dowload other stuff, but that didn't satisfy my thirst so I bought and bought and bought and am still buying! Thank goodness I did because I now have one of the greatest bands and singers playing every day. Skid Row's songs, especially Baz's voice - most notably on Breakin' Down - have helped me through some rough times, which I dodn't really want to talk about but let's just say they ended in self-harm. Through Baz I found a way to release my pain and find a positive light for the future. Thank you....I owe you so fucking much... Phil

I stopped drawing and painting after I lost my mom to cancer. (she was an great artist). When Sebastian did Jesus Christ Superstar, it was the first time I picked up my sketch pad and sketched his promo pic from the show. I framed it and gave it to him in Philly. There are many other ways he's affected my life. And all positive.

thanks, hon. I lost my dad 11 years before my mom. I still have a hard time with it. When Baz lost his father, it just brought all the old feelings bach. He was the same age as my mom when she died.

That is a great story... thanks for sharing, and sorry to hear about you mom.. I could never imagine losing mine... Same here... I think about it every day. Might sound insane but that's how it is... Really sorry to hear about all your losses! I've 'only' lost grandparents and my dog so far... Which was extremely tough for me too.
