SEBASTIAN BACH Working On Full-Length Country Album - Nov. 14, 2008 Former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach has issued the following update: "Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee! We have been completely ensconced in the studio here for the last week, woodshedding in a big way, writing and demoing our asses off. I am happy to say that the writing team of Jeffrey Steele, Vicky McGehee, and myself, the team that brought you 'Battle With The Bottle', have been been locked in Jeffrey's studio, with our intention being to come up with a full album sometime in the near future. "Since the ending of 'Gone Country 2', we now have between 10 and 15 songs 'under construction,' and we will not stop writing/demoing until we all feel we have a killer record. We all love the song 'Battle With The Bottle', but that is only the beginning. We are in the midst of assembling a whole new 'team' down here in Nashville that will be able to bring a song to the radio, which we did not have at the time of filming 'Gone Country 2'. "Hey, you don't have to ask me twice to make music! "I am so very fortunate to have met Jeffrey and Vicky, and the songs we are working on now are truly new and fresh for me as a musician. I really can't wait for all of you to hear this stuff! Here is a little taste [see video below]." Host John Rich tapped Sebastian Bach as the winner of the second season of CMT's hit series, "Gone Country", in the September 26 season finale. Bach immediately released "Battle With The Bottle" to radio, the song he penned with Nashville songwriters Jeffrey Steele and Vicky McGehee while taping the series. The song is produced by John Rich. Bach, who edged out tough competition from fellow "Gone Country" contestants Mikalah Gordon, Jermaine Jackson, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lorenzo Lamas and Sean Young, performed his song before a live audience at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon in the show's finale. In the end, Rich dubbed Bach the winner because of his ability to connect to his audience and his lyrics, something that is essential in country music. Sebastian Bach will "jam" with John Rich and Cowboy Troy on December 10 and December 11 in Las Vegas at the Hilton Theatre. And here is a short Video of the Studio! vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=46458791

Wow, thanks Dogface! I LOVE the sound of this track. I reckon Sebastian could do a whole CD of ballads and it would sell millions, regardless of whether it's called 'coutry', 'rock' or anything else. He really is the MASTER when it comes to ballads!!

wildhorse, Just go over there to CMT and see what metalrulzs and myself posted today. You'll like it. Can't understand why you can't get the video. Must be missing a flashplayer plug in or something. Me and my husband can't stop watching it. If you do manage to get to see it, you will like it.

Fantastic!!!!! ;D Can't wait to get my hands on this when it comes out! I've just been listening to some of the old(er) stuff - my husband and I were discussing Baz's voice (husband is a big death metal fan, so his favourite vocalists mostly make noises like pigs in pain ), but I never fail to be amazed at the range of styles Baz can sing so well - looks like he's found yet another genre to shine in! ;D Thanks, Baz, for making me so proud to call myself a fan! Long may your success continue! Fanglette x

I love that Sebastian is not afraid to branch out. As we saw with Battle with the bottle, he can do country like he was born doing it. Its so fun to be a fan because you just never know what direction he is going to take. The music is always amazing & Sebastian is just an awesome guy!
I can't wait to own my first Country CD from Sebastian. Believe me my kids are going to go CRAZY they love Sebastian. From Skid row on up to now ( I got some smart kids LOL).

A long time ago, on the old message board, a bunch of us did a "Baz days of Christmas" I don't have it anymore or I would post it, but it was during the Rocky Horror show, I did a fancy printing of it, with Christmas borders and it was given to him.

Has anybody been able to work out the words to 'A Long Way to go" yet. I've just listened to it yet again and I'd love to know what they are. Ace??? You're usually good at that. Any ideas?? (Oh and how are those headaches by the way Ace? I hope you haven't still got them. )

It's not just yours. It looks like the "big Boss" was on here doing some clean up. Though I don't know why he would have taken it down.
