Hello everyone! I've noticed Baz doesn't seem to come here anymore and that's given me the courage to join up and say a few words. (I find him a bit scary). About Angel Down I want to say that I totally love this album because I have my own little fantasy going about it. To me, it sounds like the story of an incredibly romantic, passionate and tragic love story... the whole epic Greek Tragedy thing. I know Baz says it's songs about the war and so on, but it just doesn't do it for me on that level. When I read love story into it, it's just so much more moving, inspiring, mesmerizing and riveting. Oh to be loved like that!!! I can only dream.

It's really special when a song/album can inspire such strong emotions. I think that element of the music is far more important than the specifics of the lyrics. If that war angle isn't doing it for you, then go with your own. Remember, the whole point of music is that it's open for interpretation. In fact, I think I'll go re-listen to the album through tonight with Hector and Andromache in mind (are you familiar with The Iliad?) and see what I come up with. Keep posting, the more the merrier!

I met Baz last year for the first time and I too was very wary beforehand....and there was absolutely no need to be, he was AWESOME, very genuine and friendly and a really nice guy. Would do anything for his fans, talks to everyone, is genuinely interested in you when he's talking to you and appreciates you showing an interest in him and his music. I hope you are lucky enough to meet him one day, you will see he's not intimidating at all.

Thank you to the Australians for the welcome. It seems what they say about you being so friendly is true. But it seems that Baz's unfriendliness when someone says something he doesn't like might have spread to someone else on this forum. I worked out what the -1 means. I just can't figure out what I said that was horrible enough to be given negative karma. Maybe now I know why not many other people that follow Baz on his other sites don't post here as well and maybe I'll go back to being one of them again. Sorry if I offended someone out there.

Nice to see new members here on Sebastian's board! You are welcome! I think you might be right about this why so many doesn't post here at all. That's a shame. Usually this is a nice place so I wish you would keep on posting here! I don't like this karma system. People have their opinions and that's the richness of this world. We don't need to agree on everything. Wouldn't it be a bit boring.. Sorry if I offend someone but I think that karma system is a female style to say F U. You don't say it right at someone's face (I like honesty) you just smile and do something mean behind your back. Shoot me again I ain't dead yet. Singing Metallica song...
