geez, I never posted my first song....I remember it like it was yesterday.... I first saw Youth on MTV (sucks), but at the time I was a big Poison fan...I know, I know...I thought to myself...."when are they going to post some Poison videos already!" So I walked into the kitchen. I had the TV on pretty loud. I just kept thinking to myself, it sounds good but.....and that was that. But when 18 & life came out I was at my friends house and she saw the 18 & life video and told me to come see. I said "Alright, but I don't know what the big fuss is about!" and I saw his angelic face on the TV. "OH...My......GAWD!!! Who is THAT?!?!?" I had never heard a voice so......FUCKING PERFECT!! Then I saw him on the screen and I thought. "Thank you god. Thank you!!!!! You knew EXACTLY what I was thinking!" but then I thought to myself...he is TOO perfect. I was still hooked for life. And I think I will always be a BAZERRK Sebastian Bach fan 4 Life. Ha...now they are gonna tour this summer...that made my day!!!

I don't remember. I saw Skid Row w/ GNR & Metallica back around 1991. At least I think I saw Skid Row then. Whenever it was & whoever they were opening for, the first song I heard was the first song they played that night. What it was I couldn't tell you.
Youth Gone Wild was the first video I saw.

First one I heard was "I Remember You" and I remember when and where I heard it because I lost my virginity during my first hearing of that song. >.< and too young too I think when looking back. I don't remember a whole lot about that night. I was .. 'inebriated' lets say to put it nicely. But I remember that song.

Sounds like you would've done things differently if you could, but at least you were listening to a cool song. In 1992 I was watching the video for Quicksand Jesus when someone knocked on my apartment door. In walked the woman I now call my wife. She was 19, I was 25, & it was the first time we met. She came back over the next day & she never slept at her house again. Three months later we got married. In August we'll celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary.

I am going on 13 with my hubby. Youth Gone Wild was my 1st song and video and loved Sebastian ever since. When I was younger you couldn't even see my ceiling I had pictures everywhere! Loved the song when I heard it then I saw Sebastian and all I could think was OH MY GOD he is beyond beautiful and he can sing his butt off. Fan for life, doesn't matter Rock, Rap or Country ;D

No, no offense at all ! and of course it was less than ideal circumstances...you hit that nail right on the head. I really DIDNT wanna lose my virginity at age 14. I wish I'd waited longer. Maybe if I wasn't so stoned at the time it wouldn't have happened. Maybe if I hadn't have gone to that party, it wouldn't have happened. Or at least maybe if I hadn't been so 'inebriated' I might've picked a different guy! xD Maybe if, Maybe if.. I could go on and on about 'maybe ifs' and 'should have - should have not' but the truth is I was not very good at making the best decisions for me at the time. Would I/Could I change things differently if I could go back? I don't know because I think if I went back to age 14, being the way I was then, I STILL would've gone to the party.. I STILL would've gotten myself too buzzed... the outcome would probably be the same. At least I learned at a young age what NOT to do at parties. And the other good thing that came out of it was I heard Bach's voice, for the very first time!! I remember it was a beautiful voice, a soothing voice in the song I remember you. It was what I needed to hear at the right time in my life. Today, when I hear the song "I remember you" It's a little bittersweet to hear it. Because what I remember, when I hear the song.. is myself the way I was BEFORE that night. When I was innocent. Well, I'm married now too... Not as long as you guys, I've been married for 9 years. To a guy who thinks that Axl Rose is cooler than Bach. :laughs: We had a pillow fight over that the other night.. He's a great guy. He gets a little envious though, when I stare too long at Bach pics...

Makin' A Mess.
I was on holiday and in a record shop in the US and it was playing. I asked the guy behind the counter who it was and he told me Skid Row. I took the cassette from the rack and purchased it there and then. A month later I saw them play at the MK Bowl and then the Marquee Club in London which I believe was the night after. From there I never looked back. They were my favorite band...until Sebastian left of course...

Youth Gone Wild for me... I still remember it coz the show I was watching screwed up and called it "You've Gone Wild" and I sat there thinking... that doesn't make sense.. "we are the You've Gone Wild" - lol. Nevertheless I was enthralled from that day onwards (with Sebastian and Rachel)

18 and life.
Finally got my wife who used to like country to like this song. She's becoming more and more metal every day, what a turn on. Just the other day she "requested" 18 and life on the radio! Hey, and my 7 year old daughter loves this stuff. she went from kids tunes to ABBA to skid row and twisted sister lol
I will make a headbanger out of her yet.

It's in her blood, when metal runs through your veins thats it, your history. Now she's gonna skip school, smoke pot and steal from family members. And she's even more dangerous because she's been taking kickboxing for a year now and she's working on her orange belt. ha ha
I'm so proud I could almost cry lol
One of her favorite songs is "leatherboys with electric toys" by Pretty Boy Floyd. Can you believe that? But she also seems to dig Quiet Riot, Slaughter's "Up ALL Night", Firehouse (mostly the ballads), and of course
SKID ROW!!!

Sounds like you are raising her right. My daughter is a headbanger since she's 12 or so. She is the original reason I got into Motley Crue, Skid Row and metal music in general. I was still listening to her music first to decide if it was "appropriate" for her. I never did censor her in any way, but we did use the music as a starting point for a lot of the deep conversations that parents have to have with kids. She was 14 when she went to L'amour (a cesspool that called itself a club) for the first time. The only qualification to her going was that I went with her. She agreed. We saw the Skids, and she and I and a lot of her friends have been going to shows together since. She's now 35 and still calls me when a band we like is going to be in either her or my area.
