I know some of you have been on Sebastians site for a while. I am new to the site and I thought I would start a thread for Anything Goes. This is so we can see what other common interests we Bach fans have, besides the obvious. For example, Who watches Ghost Hunters on the Sci-Fi Channel, etc, etc.

Any self respecting Aussie cricket fan should promptly stick their head in the sand and pretend the world doesn't exist after the performance a couple weeks ago. As for footy - yeah, dude! (go Saints!!) Aaanyway...been a Sebastian Bach fan since i was about 11, which isn't saying much considering i'm just finishing up final exams. Let's see...born and raised in Melbourne, proud Aussie and strongly encourage anybody and everybody to come visit us down under (we really do have very good beer). Interested in music and literature and hoping to studying sociology.

My husband likes Fosters beer as well as a few other brands. He also home brews his own beer every once in a while. He has been a musican at one time. He just doesn't have the time for it anymore since moving to MS Gulf Coast 6 1/2 years ago. He turned me to listening to Sebastian and now I am hooked. We are both Saints fans as well as Atlanta Falcons fans since we do live here in the south about 60 miles from NOLA.

Me too - want some beer!! But it'll taste even better after little waiting. ;D What I'm into Moomin Valley, and Disney too (one daughter and second kid coming), my own freaking house and moving in next Wednesday (who wants to help with the move? ;D I'm not allowed to lift heavy things ) into rock and roll (when having own time - listening to Ipod in a train while going to work - when not passing out - sounds wild...), downhill skiing - not right now, right now I'm into eating and sleeping! How wild is that! ;D Damn I'm so waiting for winter!! Missing the snow and cold. It it was winter with snow I'd love to go out for a walk, then go to a sauna and after that sit around fireplace and eat some chocolate. In Northern Finland there's snow... sigh.

What is the weather like there in Finland? We don't get to see any snow here. Hasn't snowed here on the Gulf in about 14 years or so.

Ok, here goes...
Fanglette's non-Baz-related interests:
TV-wise, I'm a big fan of Buffy and of The Mighty Boosh. Boosh are a comedy act - don't know if they have made it big out of the UK yet, but you heard it here first!.
I'm not into much sport, except Formula 1, which I've watched since I was about 4 - I'm a McLaren supporter, so am very happy with Lewis Hamilton winning this season!
As for beer, well I'm not drinking at the moment in a bid to avoid the credit-crunch, but I love German wheat beers like Erdinger and Paulaner. I like it cold, cloudy, in a tall glass, with a good head on it.

If you don't mind me asking, what is Formula 1? Never heard of it. As for Buffy, we don't see Buffy anymore. Used to watch it all the time. We now watch Angel, which is a spring off Buffy. Same guy that plays in Angel also plays in Bones (another show we like to watch). Of course, I like Army Wives and Greys Anatomy. Husband likes Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International (when it comes on).

Formula 1 is the epitome of motor racing IMHO ;D - super-fast multi-million pound cars raced by teams from all over the world. They held a race in Indianapolis a few years ago. Here's a link if you're interested: www.formula1.com/ Lewis Hamilton made history by becoming the youngest world champion, and the first black world champion, in the same week as Obama won the US election! I've not seen much of the Angel series, and never seen Ghost Hunters, but have watched 'Most Haunted', which is probably the British equivalent?

I'm from Maine so we see lots of snow. I like wine and singapore slings. Red Sox and Patriots fan! Never heard of Sebastian until GC2 but knew he would win after first episode. I'm mainly into new country but I grew up on KISS, VAn Halen, Def Lepard, Aerosmith, ZZ Top and yes here's the big one......Meatloaf! Love CSI, and Ghost Hunters too.

Fanglette, thanks for the link. It sounds very interesting. I will check it out. As for Most Haunted, it is similar to our Ghost Hunters except Ghost Hunters uses scientific equipment instead of ESP. Really interesting. Wildhorse, now I never heard Sebastian until 14 years ago. I too like Meatloaf and some Def Leppard. Love CSI-all cities. Never been to Maine. Probably really cold there right now. Now as for Baseball, I like the Atlanta Braves. I grew up on Country Music. Still a big country music fan. Who is your Country Music singer? Now for everyone else. Thanks for the responses so far. Still looking forward to hearing from more of you. It is really interesting to see so many differences between the countries. Lets keep this thread going.

Ok I am the "old lady of the board" I'm married, have two grown daughters and I'm currently a "lady of leisure" retired. I lived out my dream 4 years ago by moving to Hawaii. As a former New Yorker, I would be very happy if I never ever saw snow again. I am a Hockey Fan, The New York Islanders. I live with a sports fanatic, my husband will watch any sports. I used to joke that if two teams of cockroaches were playing a sport, he would pay to see it. I love all kinds of music, and I can never remember not listening to it. I've been to litterally thousands of concerts, everything from New Kids on the Block to Metallica and everything in between. I am a Beatlemaniac, have been since I was 12. My drink of choice though I don't drink much because of medication is Baileys. I also like a cold beer on a hot day, and I like a pint of Guiness once in a while. My current favorite TV shows are Lost and True Blood.

Rocknrollmom, we are all youth gone wild in our hearts. I can't say that I am retired yet. I too lived out my dream in 1991 when I moved to Hawaii. I lived there for 10 beautiful months. I lived on the island of Oahu. I am not a big sports fan. I do follow one College football team, 2 pro football teams and one baseball team. I have only been to a few concerts. I like all kinds of music but prefer country and Sebastian. I too do not dring much because of medication. I do not like beer at all. Like vampire movies. Unfortunately I have only seen the first few episodes of True Blood on line. Favorite Vampire movie is Interview with a Vampire.

Of course I am still a "youth gone wild" at heart. my "old lady of the board" used to be a joke with some of us on the old message board. There were a few of us who were not your "typical" metalheads. We used to say we were dirty old ladies. None of the others post here anymore. Though some of the Gutter Girls still do. (Hi Brat)
I'm totally hooked on True Blood. I love vamipre lore. I didn't like the movie Interview. I just couldn't see Tom Cruise as Lestat. Not enough attitude. I did like Queen of the Dammed. I thought Steward Townsend made a much more accurate Lestat. I am also looking forward to the Twilight movie. I read all 4 of the books and really enjoyed them.

I don't think of myself as old. I am suffereing a Peter Pan complex. I will never grow up. Though suffering is not the right word, enjoying would be more appropriate. I currently have no pets, but have had furry friends in the past, including a menagerie when I was a kid that included a turtle, goldfish, finch, puppy, and 4 cats.
